Nagoya-Kishimen White
With the cooperation of Yamamoto-ya Sohonke, we have created an American wheat ale using Nagoya's famous "Kishimen" (flat noodles) as an ingredient.
It has a dark yellow color with a hint of ooze and a light body. Aromas and flavors of orange and grapefruit are balanced with a firm bitterness and a gentle sweetness that cannot come from wheat malt alone, resulting in a clean finish that is pleasant to drink.
An SDGs dish that creates a nice salty wheatiness from kishimen noodles that are nearing their expiration date.
